Why is my jewelllery tarnished?

All MFY jewellery is crafted from sterling silver – this is pure silver (too soft to use within jewelry) alloyed with other metals to create beautiful piece which will last. These other alloys can react to their surroundings, creating that tarnished look we all hate! This occurs particularly when the piece is exposed to water, chemicals, high temperatures or humidity.

That’s why it’s so important to follow our care instructions. However, if it does tarnish, just grab a soft jewelry polishing cloth and rub in one direction to bring that shine back! Vermeil can be dusted with a soft cloth, cleaned gently with warm soapy water. Tarnishing is a natural occurrence and even the most tender loving care, may still happen over time.

Lab-Grown Diamonds

A diamond is a diamond - no matter where a diamond comes from or how it’s grown!

It’s now possible to create diamonds that have the same optical, physical and chemical composition as their mined counterparts. Lab-grown diamonds are identical to those that are mined but are liable to much less social harm.

Our sustainably lab-created diamonds are held to the same standards of rarity and value, known as the 4cs: cut, colour, clarity and carat. They are H-I color & SI clarity

Deliveries & returns

Delivery – What Options are there?

Standard Fedex delivery: Free - 5-7 business days

Shipping estimates are based on the day and time your order is placed.

Delivery – How do I track my order?

You will receive a tracking e-mail from Fedex once your item has shipped. Tracking details are available from the moment your order is dispatched from us to when it is signed for at its final destination.

Can I change my delivery address?

We will always try to help out if you need to change an address – simply drop us an e-mail info@diamondsmadeforyou.com or call us on (929) 552 3639 and we’ll see if we can amend this.

Returns – What is the policy?

We hope that you’ll love your jewellery as much as we do, but if it isn’t quite right you can send it back to us for either a refund or an exchange within 60 days of order.

All pieces must be returned in a new and unworn condition and in their original, undamaged packaging

Returns – How do I return my item?

Please contact us at info@diamondsmadeforyou.com to make arrangements for returning your item. A specialist will provide you with shipping instructions along with a Return Authorization Number.

Processing your Refund

Upon receipt of items, the credit or debit card originally used for the purchase will be credited with the cost of the goods, minus any delivery charges (exceptions may apply). All refunds will be issued in the original form of payment within 14 days from the date the return is received.

Warranty & repair

Can you repair my jewelry?

At present we don’t provide a repair service. If you have an issue with your item, and it’s outside of the warranty period, please do get in touch though and we’ll try to advise you on the best course of action.

What does the warranty cover?

MFY Jewellery is guaranteed for 6 months, under normal conditions of wear and tear. Within this time, we offer free replacements for any manufacturing or material defects. If your item suffers a fault due to a manufacturing issue, please get in contact and we will replace your piece at no extra cost.

Please note, our warranty does not cover loss, accidental damage, wear and tear or damage from improper use or storage. We will require proof of purchase to activate the warranty for you, if you have lost your order number since placing your order, please get in touch and we will be able to locate this for you.
